Configuring other life cycles

Other life cycles may be also configured to use the Advanced Approval circulation options described in Configuring circulation options. The only requirements are:

• The Lifecycle code value must end with .adv to allow for scheduled release of documents.
• The affected status transitions are those that promote documents from a status with a lower Document status code value to a higher value.

For example, the following status transitions in the default Approval life cycle may be configured to use the Advanced Approval circulation options:

• Verify (0.100) => Approve (0.110)
• Approve (0.110) => Approved (0.120)
